Honey Glazed Chicken Meatballs with Sticky Rice

Ingredients
FOR THE CHICKEN MEATBALLS:
- 500g KLFC Chicken Meatballs
FOR THE HONEY GLAZE:
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar or lime juice
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (slurry)
FOR THE STICKY RICE:
- 2 cups glutinous rice, soaked in water for 4 hours or overnight
- Water for steaming
FOR THE GARNISH:
- Sliced green onions
- Sesame seeds
Instructions
STEP 1: PREPARE THE STICKY RICE
- Drain the soaked glutinous rice and transfer it to a steamer lined with cheesecloth or parchment paper. Steam for 20-25 minutes until tender. Keep warm.
STEP 2: COOK THE CHICKEN MEATBALLS
- Cook KLFC Chicken Meatball according to package instructions until golden and heated through. Set aside.
STEP 3: PREPARE THE SAUCE
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar (or lime juice), sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
STEP 4: THICKEN THE SAUCE
- Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook until the sauce thickens, about 1-2 minutes.
STEP 5: COAT THE MEATBALL
- Toss the cooked chicken meatballs in the honey glaze until evenly coated.
STEP 6: PLATE THE DISH
- Serve the glazed meatballs over a bed of sticky rice. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
