Chicken Fajitas with Peppers and Onions

Ingredients

FOR THE FAJITAS: 
  • 1 packet KLFC Boneless Chicken Breast, sliced 
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 8 small tortillas

FOR GARNISH: 
  • Lime wedges
  • Fresh cilantro
  • Sour cream (optional)

Instructions

STEP 1:  SAUTÉ THE VEGETABLES
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add bell peppers and onions.
  • Season with chili powder, cumin, and paprika. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened.

STEP 2: HEAT THE CHICKEN 
  • Add sliced KLFC Boneless Chicken Breast to the skillet and toss with the vegetables until heated through.

STEP 3: WARM TTHE TORTILLAS
  • Heat tortillas in a dry pan or microwave for a few seconds to make them pliable.

STEP 4: ASSEMBLE THE FAJITAS 
  • Divide the chicken and vegetable mixture among the tortillas.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro, a squeeze of lime, and a dollop of sour cream if desired.
